NEW PROJECT: Bukiyou Na Silent (manga)

It’s a lie – though it says ONE-SHOT, Takanaga-sensei actually made it into a series later onwards. HA! YAOI POPULARITY IN YOUR FACE!

Introducing The Otaku’s Blog first ever yaoi project – Bukiyou Na Silent :)

Surprised? While I may not seem like it, I’m actually a very big fan of yaoi. A fan GIRL to be exact, just in case you’re wandering.

And for all those non-yaoi fans out there, prepare yourselves cause I’m going to make you fall in love with it! Or Bukiyou Na Silent in the least.

Let’s do this azu-nyan style ~

General Info:

*WARNING: Bukiyou Na Silent is classified as ‘mature’.

Name: Bukiyou Na Silent (不器用なサイレント; Awkward Silence)
Years of Release:
2005
Status:
Complete
Artist:
Takanaga Hinako

Genre/s:  Comedy, Romance, School Life, Shounen Ai, Sports, Yaoi

Summary: Bukiyou na Silent focuses on the dramatic love life of a teenage boy named Toono Satoru. Satoru has the longest crush he’s ever had, on the school baseball player, Tamiya Keigo, who he watches from the art room window. One day, Satoru is asked to go on a date by Keigo, but all Satoru can do is stand there, emotionless, without saying a word. Little does Keigo know, is that deep inside Satoru, he is really shocked, amazed, surprised and literally speechless. Misunderstanding Satoru’s impression, Keigo says to forget about it and tries to walk away, before Satoru grabs hold of him and accepts his request.

Throughout the relationship, complications, jealousy and an old friend, arise to make the two lovers situation problematic. As Keigo thinks that showing no emotion is hereditary in Satoru’s family, he slowing begins to understand the feelings and emotions Satoru silently portrays.

From the author, Takanaga Hinako, perfectly portrays the notion of the teenage feeling of sexual tension, that will even have the reader understanding the emotions Satoru tries to convey. Read and discover whether the young boys conquer the challenge love awaits for them.

Though it’s unfortunate to say, BNS is in fact COMPLETE (though Mangafox seems to say otherwise). Sad face. I’ll still be reviewing the series despite this, most likely chapter by chapter. Hopefully that’ll keep the yaoi fans entertained in the meantime, that is, if any of them happen to stumble upon this site :)

Chapter 1 shouldn’t be long now ~

Drooling/Nosebleeding yet ;)?

Then until laters.

I’m not too well versed in yaoi manga, but I think I will give this a try just for a change of pace. Maybe I might even become a big fan of yaoi after this.

Yi! Glad to see you around and yeah, thanks for the visit :) I got your email and replied.

As for Bukiyou Na Silent, good luck with reading it. Whilst I dont mind yuri, I still find it hard to fall in love with seeing as I am a teenage girl who’s still pondering about her own sexuality. Thus the awkwardness.

I’m not too sure if the same applies to you for yaoi (you’re a guy yes?), but hopefully it somehow works out lol. Oh, and i did say BnS has sexual content yeah…?

Tell me how it goes ~

Lol! You srsly wanna celebrate over 800 comments? Pshhj comments don’t do any good. But lol, if you must in the least wait for 1000 :)
