Although I’m sure we all know this already, I thought I ought to remind or mention it to those who don’t.

Who is Hatsune Miku?

Hatsune Miku or Miku Hatsune (in Western name order) is the first character from the Japanese singing synthesizer application Vocaloid2, created by Crypton Future Media and released on 31st August 2007. Voiced by the great seiyuu Saki Fujita, Miku is considered the most popular and well known Vocaloid. Nico Nico Douga, a popular video sharing website in Japan, plays an important role in extending her popularity, even now. Moreover, manga, concerts and games, all of which involve her character, have been created since. Miku is notably known for her artificial voice which no human can reach. But as a program, Miku is unable to compose her own songs and thus popular producers were born through their use of Vocaloid and Miku’s voice. Examples include ryo from Supercell with his masterpiece Melt, kz (livetune) and his techno vibe Packaged, OSTER Project with her sweet mellow melodies, Ika with his great originality and many more. Some of Miku songs which take her into popularity:

In the end, not only is Hatsune Miku popular in Japan but also the whole world. As they say, the world is yours Miku.

Moar Gakupoid. He’s sexier than Miku. *trollface*

  3. Yi says:

I love this digital idol. There are a lot of lovely whimsical, serious, and emotional tracks that she’s associated with. I think she’s great.

    • jacqivarius says:

The program itself allows anyone who wishes to compose a medium by which to do so. I feel as if the creativity that Miku allows is breathtaking. There are so many songs that could easily topple the charts but are realized and conceived by regular people at home.

    • lerorin says:

      agree with jacqivarius.

  4. Itachi says:

Nice pick of PV. I like them all. One question, how many songs are there that she sing up until now. I’m collecting some of the album created, but somehow, they’re still some song that I miss.

because of miku, those sleeping talents are being recognized all over the world. from animators to composers, people who were once famed on the net have made a name in real life with their works being acknowledged by the masses. regardless of how people would look at her, the fact that miku is able to revolutionize the world is powerful enough for this cute diva :D
