Nah, it doesn’t end. The manga keeps going even though the story should have ended when they saved Rukia. Cash money and such.
Ditto. I doubt Pierrot would end the anime after such a pointless filler. Had they intended to, wouldn’t they have done so after Aizen’s end?
What I hate most about Bleach fillers is that it carries on for far too long, and even after they’ve resolved the filler’s plot, they just do random stuff with the filler characters like “bake cakes” and “find cats.” Oh, what fun!
I agree. Bleach is an anime comprised of either exciting plot, or worthless fillers which are followed by more fillers. Pierrot Studios is most definitely trying to keep the anime going for the long run but unless the storyline is actually decent, like perhaps the zanpakutou arc, I would rather prefer them to use their budget elsewhere. Like perhaps on other anime series which could of used a little more improvement though I’m just hypothetically saying.
Moreover, the manga for Bleach has yet to get serious with its Fullbring arc, so Bleach will be running off fillers for a long time.
It’s difficult for a producer to cut such a popular show. There’s a fine line between pleasing the fans and making money. Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece are SO popular that if the continuity is broken, millions of dollars of revenue will be lost. Every kid watches those shows.
The thing is, Full Metal Alchemist and Soul Eater did not resort to fillers. Instead the producers created an alternate ending which ultimately culminated into numerous feature length films. FMA has a second season which closely follows the manga and it’s amazing.
I don’t know which is the correct decision. Some fillers are nice I guess.
i dont no why but i started hating bleach after ss arc.but i still read it to see development in other characters but it never happend.after end ss arc bleach became lame and boring.
gotei 13 invading army arc is gonna be another worthless arc where highly overrated ichigo will take all the screentime and defeat main antagonist.
+its okay if the main plot is all about ichigo but the fillers should be about other charcters like uryu ishida after all he is an amazing character and quincy final form is the best move in bleach.
Now that would be interesting. We really haven’t seen much – or any, really – development with Bleach’s side characters. It’s almost always about how Ichigo pawns everyone – not that it’s bad, but the series could use some variation. Take for example, your suggestion. Perhaps if Pierrot Studios decided to shift their focus on Ishida, Chad, or Orihime, or anyone else but Ichigo, fans would be able to appreciate the strength of the side characters more. I don’t think their weak, they just seem so cause of so little spotlight is casted upon them.
And oh my, don’t even get me started on how downhill Bleach has been going since the Arrancar Arc finally ended. Do you read the manga? If so, have you seen Ichigo’s new form? Oh my god. It’s ugly. And weird. His final Zangetsu form was the best – both in power and appearance. I can’t believe the mangaka killed it all so quick just like that.
